Sup all! Today, heres a post late at night ! :D Back from Ikea
Well, heres an anime review on H2O ~ Footprints in the Sand ~
To start off, H2O ~ Footprints in the Sand ~. It isn't your normal high school romance Anime.
The so called 'hero' or the protagonist of the anime, is a boy named Hirose. He in blind due to some unknown reasons, which doctors can't find what problem it is. Seems as if his blindness was due to the trauma of seeing his mother 'commit suicide' at a young age. Well, it starts off with a poem of H2O, talking about footprints and stuff.
Slowly they introduce some girls and stuff. With girls who falls in love with him and he gets some eye candy of those girls, such as in the bath. By accident, though.
The story was rather good, and the character background is strong with alot of stuff explained. The history of the character's relationship and stuff.
Well, here are the character analysis by me:
Hirose- kun/sama: The hero or protagonist. He is blind due to trauma, but he gets to 'see' when a spirit gives him the strength to see. He is very agonised by the past and he is very friendly. Cool guy. But abit whiny.
Hayami- chan: The main heroin, although not evident early in the series, but very evident near the end. She is hated for some stuff her family did to the villagers and she takes the torment of people because they hated her family for the stuff they did. She blames herself for what her family did. It gets annoying later in the series where you keep hearing the same thing over and over again.
Hinata- chan: The student council president and the granddaughter of the elder of the village. She is a very caring girl and does alot of things for the grandfather who is very irritating. The grandfather is very very very very very cruel, and lotsa times I wanted to break my screen to pull him out and give him a good bashing.
*Spoiler*
Hinata is actually Hotaru, the younger sister, she is acting as Hinata because she believes that she caused Hinata to drown. The grandfather forced her and gave her in the first place though.
*Spoiler End *
Otoha- chan: The real Hinata. She appears as a Spirit of Time and tells Hirose that he is the Promised One. Her personality is based on the story Hotaru created. And how she and Hirose goes, is also the same as the story Hotaru created. She loves Hirose but she tells him that she can't be with him, because she is not destined to be with him.
Yui- Chan: A person full of self-confidence. She can't draw but brags about her drawing skills and stuff. She's the tsundere type of girl, so is Hayami- chan ( Refer to character number 2 for Hayami info) She is very 'powerful' with 2 followers. Lol @ that. She called Hayami, Gokiburi<<> Cockroach. She hates Hayami, because Hayami's family refused to treat her grandfather's sickness because they could not pay.
Misc Chars like Maki & Hamaji:
Maki is a normal friend of Hotaru and gang. Hamaji is a boy who likes to cross-dress. Even I got tricked thinking that he was a girl until the final episode. Where they show the son of his. With Maki as the mother.
Well, to sum it up. It was a touching story of love. During the last episode, I almost felt a tear come out when *SPOILER * Hayami gets hit by a train while saving a boy like Hirose's mom *Spoiler End*
But Otoha- chan manages to convince the spirit world to return Hayami back to the world to spare Hirose from the pain once again. It all ends well, if it didn't l would have stomped all the way to the anime company and kill them then kill the mangaka. Well, thank god it ended well.
Art work: 8/10 Character background: 8/10 Plot: 9/10 Realistic: 6/10 Ecchi level: 3/10 Kiss and hugs: Happens once in a while like 3-4 times in the series? Overall rating: 8/10 My rating: 10/10
Conclusion, it's definitely a good anime to watch. I recommend it greatly, nice opening song too as well as the last episodes ending. This anime is so good that it made me jerk a tear of happiness when I saw the last few 25 seconds. The ending is very good, and makes the audience very relieved. WATCH IT OR DIE! (:<
That's all.
Btw, maybe I'll switch this blog to an anime review blog. Haha. Tune in for more reviews.
