Post time. For today's anime review, l'm gonna do ' CLANNAD '! And of course, the second season of it too. Clannad AfterStory!
To give the anime a good boost right up the bat. It's my favourite anime, and when I say it's my favourite, it is sure to be a good anime. Well, starting off. A warning to those people who wants to watch Clannad. If you don't like tearjerkers, or sad and touching anime. Don't watch this. Personally, a few drops of tears did roll down my cheek after watching this anime, and movie. But it really touches your soul for the most dream-like romance you want to have.
Starting off of this anime, you see Tomoya, the main guy. He's right-arm is so called 'useless', due to an accident with his Dad. He meets Nagisa, the main girl on the way to school and stuff. They started to become friends and finds out that Nagisa is actually a repeat student due to her weak body, which didn't give her enough attendance rate. This makes her repeat. Tomoya starts making friends with more girls and as the story goes, you see their past and background, along with touching stories.
Character Profiles Okazaki Tomoya:
A delinquent, who skips schools. He changes his lifestyle after meeting Nagisa and other girls, slowly but surely. He is a good hearted person. But, became somewhat of a delinquent after his mother's death, and an accident with his father.
Furukawa Nagisa:
A girl 1 year older than Tomoya, she had to repeat her final year due to her weak body. She is very airheaded and loves theatrical acting. Her family is very so called 'cute' and 'cool'. With the dad somewhat the 2nd most funniest character of the anime. And the mom, the 3rd most funniest. She loves Dango, the family show ( or anime? ) the most. She has a sad past that is revealed later in the anime.
Sunohara Youhei: Funniest guy in the anime and best friend of Tomoya. He is somewhat also of a delinquent and was part of the soccer club in the past. He is the punchliner of the anime and does alot of funny stuff.
Kyou Fujibayashi: A very hot blooded girl. She is very violent. She falls in love with Tomoya in the middle of the story during an incident. She is the older twin of the Fujibayashi Sisters. With Ryou as the younger sister. Unlike her younger sister, she is not very airheaded, and is well aware of her surroundings. She has a pet boar, named Botan. She is somewhat of a Tsundere. :P
Ryou Fujibayashi: The younger sister of the Fujibayashi Sisters. She is rather airheaded and has a crush on Tomoya. She can tell fortune using Tarot cards but usually, the fortune told is opposite.
Kotomi Ichinose:
A girl with a rather sad past. She is a genius and meets Tomoya incidentally in the library. She is VERY airheaded and somewhat slow even though she is a genius. She loves to play the violin but sucks at it. The stuff that comes from her violin is apparently 'noise'. She has a friendship relation with Tomoya during childhood but Tomoya forgets, but remembers slowly during the arc of finding out the past of Kotomi.
Tomoyo Sakagami:
Somewhat of a heroin in town, who beats up delinquents. She enters the school Tomoya and gang is attending and becomes the Student Council President, and managed to stop the cutting down of the Sakura Trees located on the way to school. She is very strong and beats up Sunohara alot. There is an episode featuring Tomoya and Tomoyo as a couple where the other girls don't exist. Forgot the name :P
Fuko Ibuki One heck of a random girl. She appears in the story early in the show. She is a small size, petite girl. She loves star fishes and carves them out and gives them to people. Which people usually mistaken it as a star.
*SPOILER ALERT*
She is actually the spirit of the real Fuko who is lying in bed at the hospital. Her spirit disappears, but randomly appears during the story, in which the other characters forget about her. Well, to put it shortly, she appears and disappears. This arc probably made me jerk a tear or two when she disappeared and people slowly forgot about her. With Tomoya as an exception for a while.

This anime is one of the best anime created. But since this anime was created by Key, someone surely has to die or disappear. Because, a key anime wouldn't be completed without someone dying or disappearing. That's for sure.Not the mention, the choice of music is good. BGM too. It all fits the anime. Seriously.
Skip this anime if you don't like romance or tearjerking anime. But remember, you're missing out on alot. This anime is probably ground breaking although, some wierdos out there don't like this for some reasons. This anime is definitely worth a try. Really! The anime is my number 1 anime. :D Try it if you have the time. Wait, don't try it. WATCH THE WHOLE SERIES. (:
I cannot empathise more on how good this anime is. It's good. Really, really good. I hope you guys enjoyed the review. (: Have fun watching it.
