Seeing something.
Doesn't mean it exists.
Having something.
Doesn't mean its yours.
Being someone.
Doesn't mean you're something.
Being strong.
Doesn't mean you can stand.
Being hopeful.
Doesn't mean you're naive.
Being sad.
Doesn't mean you're weak.

Taking things for granted as they are,
isn't really something good.
It's only when you lose something,
do you truly know the value of it.
Life.
Many people think life isn't worth living.
With all its trouble it brings.
Until one day you find yourself in danger of losing it,
then do you regret and want to re-do everything you did wrongly.
Someone who's close to you.
Take it for granted.
And when that person disappears,
don't cry.
There's no one to blame but yourself.

Don't ask for everything.
Be content with something.
Accept someone for who that person is, and not what that person is.
There's no point in turning an oyster into a clam.
All it does is bring sadness along.
Complacency is something wreaks destruction in its wake.
As well as, not appreciating anything we have.
What good does being fickle-minded bring?
What good does being calculative bring?
What good does caring too much bring?

In the end, everything disappears.
In the end, nothing remains.
In the end, you get nothing but complaints.
What has been done that made it possible?
Everything.
Everything has been done.
Giving your all.
Giving everything you have.
Giving all your time.
Giving all your thoughts.
Giving all your love.
Giving all your pain.
Giving all your emotions.
Giving all your memories.
And,
Giving all your heart.

Why bother so much if everything is just going to hell one day?
Why have that hope that everything will be right?
Why can't we believe in just solitude?
Do we really need someone to be there for us?
Do we really need to be re-assured that we're not alone?
Do we really need to be cared for?
Do we really need to be subjected to pain in exchange for everything?

Sometimes I wonder, why do human beings continue.
Even though they know if they go on, they'll die.
It's like a moth which is attracted to a naked flame.
It knows it will be burnt to death.
Yet, for a moment of glimmer and warmth,
it dies.
How ironic the similar thing happens to us.
Its like knowing you'll die if you walk into a busy road,
and still trying your luck to see if you won't get hit.
The point isn't your chances of surviving.
Rather, the fact that you want to know if you can survive.

It's sad that.
All the various people that gives you their attention and time,
isn't the person you want.
And the person you really wish for to give you their attention and time,
doesn't.
A contradiction that life presents itself.
Truly regrettable.

What good does irony have?

Irony is dead.
Long live irony.
